Terms of service

The deal between you and us, written so you can actually read it. The headline: you own your content, the prices on the pricing page are the real prices, and don't use our infrastructure for anything you wouldn't want explained to a judge.

Last updated June 2026

The short version

  • Pin Feed lets you and your clients pin feedback on live websites, images, and PDFs. Use it for that.
  • Only load websites you have the right to review, and don't treat our loading infrastructure as a free proxy service. It isn't one.
  • New accounts get 14 days of Pro free, no card. After that you land on the Free plan and nothing gets deleted.
  • Cancel any time. Annual plans have a 30-day money-back guarantee.
  • Your content is yours. We host it; we don't own it, sell it, or mine it.
  • We work hard on uptime but don't promise perfection, and our liability is capped at what you paid us.

Who we are and what you're agreeing to

Pin Feed is operated by Workotick LLC, a United States company ("we", "us"). These terms are a contract between you and Workotick LLC, and they cover the marketing site at pinfeed.io and the product at app.pinfeed.io.

By creating an account, opening a share link as a guest, or otherwise using Pin Feed, you agree to these terms. If you are signing up on behalf of a company, you are agreeing for that company and you confirm you have the authority to do so. If you don't agree, don't use the service; we mean that without attitude, it's just how contracts work.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle data and is part of the deal too.

What Pin Feed is

Pin Feed is a visual feedback tool. You point a project at a live website and our infrastructure loads that site so you, your team, and your guests can drop pins, draw, comment, and resolve threads right on the page, across desktop, tablet, and mobile viewports. You can also upload images and PDFs and collect the same pinned feedback on files, with versions.

Some mechanics worth knowing, because they shape what you can expect:

  • Websites load through our reverse proxy. There is nothing to install on your site, but it also means we are fetching pages on your behalf, which is why the acceptable use rules below exist.
  • Every pin captures a screenshot of the page at that moment. Screenshots are point-in-time records; they do not update when the site changes.
  • Guests open share links with just a name and an email. You control those links and can rotate them at any time, which immediately kills the old URL.
  • File uploads have format and size limits (currently 25 MB per image and 50 MB per PDF), and plans have project and storage caps described on the pricing page.

Your account

  • Give us accurate signup information and keep your email current; it is how we reach you about billing and security.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so tell us right away at support@app.pinfeed.io if you think it has been compromised.
  • Share links are part of your account's footprint. Anyone holding one can contribute to that project, so share them deliberately and rotate them when people shouldn't have access anymore.
  • You must be at least 16 to use Pin Feed.

Acceptable use

Pin Feed fetches and displays web pages on your instruction. That is a real piece of infrastructure with real costs and real abuse potential, so the rules are specific. You agree not to:

  • load, store, or distribute content that is illegal where you are or where we are, including content that infringes someone else's intellectual property
  • use the loading infrastructure as a general-purpose proxy, VPN, anonymizer, or scraper. It exists to display pages you are reviewing, not to route traffic, harvest data, or hide your origin
  • load websites you have no legitimate reason to review, or use Pin Feed to probe, attack, overload, or bypass the security, authentication, or paywalls of any site
  • generate automated or bulk traffic through the service, or resell access to it
  • upload malware, phishing material, or anything designed to harm the people who open your projects
  • harass or abuse other users, or impersonate someone else when entering a guest name
  • interfere with the service itself: no reverse engineering to build a competing proxy, no circumventing rate limits or plan caps

We enforce this proportionately. Honest mistakes get an email. Abuse of the proxy gets throttled or blocked automatically, and serious or repeated violations get the account suspended or terminated. Where the law requires it, we report illegal content to the relevant authorities.

Plans, trials, and billing

Current prices live on the pricing page. The mechanics:

  • The trial. Every new account starts with 14 days of Pro automatically. We do not collect a card, so there is no surprise charge at the end. When the trial ends without an upgrade, the account moves to the Free plan.
  • Free plan. $0, up to 3 projects and 500 MB of storage, with every feature included. If you have more projects than the cap when you land on Free, the extras are frozen (read-only), never deleted. Upgrade and they wake up exactly as you left them.
  • Pro plan. $49 per month, or $39 per month billed yearly ($468 per year). The yearly rate is our founding price: as long as you stay subscribed, it does not go up, even when the list price does. Lapse and resubscribe later, and the then-current price applies.
  • Storage add-ons. Pro accounts can add storage in fixed blocks, billed monthly and prorated. One add-on at a time; swap or drop it whenever.
  • Renewals and payment. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Billing runs through Stripe. If a payment fails we retry and email you; if it keeps failing, the account moves to Free with the same freeze-not-delete treatment.
  • Price changes. If we change a price that affects you, we give at least 30 days' notice by email, and the change applies from your next billing period. The founding annual price is exempt: it stays locked while you stay subscribed.
  • Taxes. Prices exclude any VAT, GST, or sales tax that your location requires us to collect.

Cancellation and refunds

  • Cancel any time from your billing settings. No emails to write, no retention call, no "are you sure" maze.
  • When you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for, then the account moves to Free. Your projects stay; anything over the Free cap freezes.
  • Annual plans: 30-day money-back guarantee. If yearly Pro isn't working out, email support@app.pinfeed.io within 30 days of the charge and we refund it in full. No hoops, no forms.
  • Monthly plans are not refunded pro rata; you simply keep access through the days you have paid for.

Your content stays yours

Everything you put into Pin Feed (projects, pins, comments, drawings, uploaded files) and everything the product generates from it (screenshots) is your content. We claim no ownership of any of it.

To run the service we need a limited license from you: the right to host, store, transmit, display, and process your content, including fetching the websites your projects point at and showing your content to the people you share it with. That license exists solely to operate Pin Feed, and it ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the short window it takes deleted data to age out of backups.

We do not sell your content, use it for advertising, or dig through it for any purpose beyond running and securing the service. Guest contributions belong to the project they were made in, which means the project owner controls them.

You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload and to the websites you load for review. If someone sends us a legitimate infringement notice about content in your account, we may remove the content and will tell you when we do.

Websites you load through Pin Feed

The websites you review through Pin Feed belong to their owners, not to us. When you point a project at a URL, you confirm you have a legitimate reason to review that site, typically because it is yours, your client's, or one you have been asked to give feedback on.

Our proxy identifies itself honestly to the sites it loads, with a Pin Feed user agent and header. Site owners can block it, and some firewalls do. We publish a self-serve allowlist guide for site admins, but we cannot force any website to load, and a site that blocks us is not a defect in the service.

We are not responsible for the content of third-party websites displayed through the proxy, and displaying a site through Pin Feed is not an endorsement of it.

Availability

We run Pin Feed carefully and take downtime personally, but the service is provided as is and as available. We do not promise uninterrupted operation, and these plans do not come with a formal SLA.

  • Some websites cannot be loaded through any proxy (hard firewall challenges, certain security products). When that happens we say so on screen and point to the allowlist guide.
  • We may run maintenance, and we will schedule the disruptive kind outside busy hours where we can.
  • Features marked beta or coming soon (for example, the Jira, Linear, and Trello integrations) are not part of the service until they actually ship.

Limits on liability

Plain version first: if something goes wrong, the most we owe you is what you paid us, and neither of us sues the other for speculative losses. Now the formal version:

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Workotick LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to the service, even if we have been advised such damages are possible.

Our total liability for all claims combined is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $50 if you are on the Free plan and have paid us nothing.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

One thing flowing the other way: you agree to defend us against claims arising from your content or your breach of the acceptable use rules, since those are things only you control.

Termination

By you: delete your account from Settings whenever you like. Deletion cascades immediately: workspaces, projects, pins, comments, and screenshots you own are removed, as described in the privacy policy.

By us: we can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the infrastructure, or create legal risk for us or other users. For anything short of serious abuse or legal necessity, we will warn you first and give you a chance to fix it, and where reasonably possible we will give you time to export your content.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination (content responsibility, liability limits, governing law) do survive it.

Changes to the service and these terms

Pin Feed evolves; features get added, improved, and occasionally retired. If we remove something material to how you use the product, we will tell you ahead of time.

When these terms change, we update the date at the top. For material changes we email account holders at least 14 days before the new terms take effect. Keep using the service after that and the new terms apply; if you don't like them, cancel before they kick in and, on annual plans, we will refund the unused portion.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Workotick LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes go to the state or federal courts located there, and both sides consent to that venue.

Before anyone files anything, talk to us. Email support@app.pinfeed.io with the problem and we will make a genuine attempt to sort it out within 30 days. Most disputes are a refund and an apology away from resolved.
